Our Mission: To provide a Structured after-school and summer program that provides educational, physical, and spiritual benefits to at-risk children in East Waxahachie, in a safe Christian Environment.
Common Ground Ministries is a Christian outreach to children and youth in east Waxahachie, Texas. Our mission is to provide a safe and structured environment for children and youth to meet their spiritual, educational and physical needs.
When students arrive from school they first have a nutritious snack and then a supervised homework period. Then they receive instruction and take part in indoor or outdoor recreational activities. Volunteer tutors work with individual students to assist them in remaining focused on their educational needs.
Although we want each child to enjoy their stay at Common Ground Ministries our main desire is to assist each individual young person in realizing the potential that is within them. Through Biblical principles and teachings each young person is taught that they can "do ALL things through Christ who strengthens them"!
Our Vision Statement: To have a positive and Christian influence on the at-risk children of Waxahachie through a safe, structured and professionally-staffed program that will help these children discover their potential, become more confident, and be better equipped to find success in school and life.
